|ECHO Asia Seed Bank|
Welcome to the Seed Bank ministry of the ECHO Asia Impact Center. Our goal is to serve as a resource for development workers within Asia who wish to experiment with underutilized crops as they work to improve the lives of the poor. We maintain a collection of hard-to-find seeds that thrive under difficult growing conditions in the tropics and sub-tropics.
Through the ECHO Asia Seed Bank, network members can either acquire free small sample packets, or purchase bulk orders of selected seeds. To read more about the seeds we offer, please read our 2014 Seed Catalog. For information and instructions regarding the order process, please read below.
PACKETS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY TO MEMBERS WORKING IN ASIA & SEEDS WILL ONLY BE MAILED TO ADDRESSES WITHIN ASIA.
FREE SAMPLE PACKETS
The ECHO Asia Seed Bank offers small sample packets of seeds to those working on behalf of the poor, particularly in developing countries. It is our hope that these seeds will be used to evaluate new species that may help alleviate hunger, improve the soil, and produce income in areas where agriculture is difficult.
Up to 10 packets of sample seeds are available free for these active development workers in Asia. We will send as many as 10 packets per year (no duplicates), so please limit your selection to 10.

PURCHASING ADDITIONAL ECHO ASIA SEED:
Once Asia Network Members have met their 10 packet quota for the year, they may purchase additional sample packets. ECHO Asia also makes bulk amounts available for several species that may require an amount larger than a sample packet or that may not be available in certain areas.

Instructions for Ordering Additional Seed Packets and Bulk Seeds:
*Please note that your order will be filled on the basis of first come, first served. Seed availability depends on current production. Fees help defray the cost of seed production, processing, packaging, and postage.
*ECHO Asia Seed Bank is not responsible for phytosanitary certificates or plant import permits in most cases. Customers receiving seed outside of Thailand must be familiar with their country’s policies regarding the importation of foreign plant and seed material.
**For orders within Thailand, seeds are mailed through Regular Parcel Service Only (Approximately 1-7 business days, not including weekends and holidays). For orders within other parts of Asia, seeds are mailed via Airmail Only (Approximately 7-14 business days, not including weekends and holidays).
