ECHO Asia Seed Bank |
Welcome to the Seed Bank ministry of the ECHO Asia Impact Center. Our goal is to serve as a resource for development workers within Asia who wish to experiment with underutilized crops as they work to improve the lives of the poor. We maintain a collection of hard-to-find seeds that thrive under difficult growing conditions in the tropics and sub-tropics. Through the ECHO Asia Seed Bank, network members can either acquire free small sample packets, or purchase bulk orders of selected seeds. To read more about the seeds we offer, please read our 2014 Seed Catalog. For information and instructions regarding the order process, please read below. PACKETS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY TO MEMBERS WORKING IN ASIA & SEEDS WILL ONLY BE MAILED TO ADDRESSES WITHIN ASIA. It is our hope that these seeds will be used to evaluate new species that may help alleviate hunger, improve the soil, and produce income in areas where agriculture is difficult. Up to 10 packets of sample seeds are available free for these active development workers in Asia. We will send as many as 10 packets per year (no duplicates), so please limit your selection to 10.
